Youtube How to search for music that's hot, popular and popular in other countries.

The question was on my list for a while. Being a U.S. citizen I've been absorbed in pop music culture. Dua Lipa wearing slippers, Kanye West admiring his dwarfed wife. Pop culture is my love and I adore the people involved. I'd make a great host for one of the Gossip & Hollywood info talk shows, where hosts share all about personal belongings of Hollywood's most famous actors. Then they switch to less popular and finish with flashbacks to the past or sightings from the beginning that haven't been seen around for quite a while.. All the news and rumors would be delivered with love and passion and affection. The majority of current hosts make a few jokes about the news and never discuss.


So I've been trying to incorporate more music from other countries in my collection of music. To start, I'm trying to find out which music is most well-known in different countries. I began by looking at a few European monoliths such as Germany and the UK, France and Sweden. After hours of Youtube it appeared that I was a pro at making Youtube provide me with the information I needed. It wasn't easy. Apparently all one can see is the most popular and trendy music in their area and their country at best. I searched other websites to find the top 20 most watched Youtube videos in their respective countries. There were some that did. But it was mostly outdated. No one wants to write about the top 20 each week. This is something that should be on television, isn't it? Hit-parades and other things.

I tried again.. But after weeks of not finding anything or even a handful of, and not being able to find any source of the most popular songs from other countries , I was ready to give in. My best choice was to use an Firefox plugin that allowed me to connect to Internet through a different country. This enabled me to browse Youtube as if I were in Spain or Germany. It was not reliable as such connections are known to go away and slow, but it worked and I decided to try it. A limited selection of countries and an frustrating need to find reliable sources were getting my attention..
