How do you stay up to date with music from your native country even if it's been 10 years since you left.

What are you doing? I am an Russki teenager who moved to America to have a better life. In Russia, I was not wealthy. I was poor. My family, and me, were not rich. As an early adult in Russia the money wasn't an essential requirement. We had to find ways to earn money. Many different strategies, most like asking your neighbors for some dollars to buy their communal vodka bottle. This is almost the same as we'd look for ways to earn a few dollars quickly to purchase bread. We were always hungry.

So I finally made it to America and have had been here for a few months, seen most of the East Coast from Boston all the way down to Miami and Key West and all the up to the middle states. However, it's not anywhere near New York or Brooklyn or Brighton Beach. This area reminds me of many times of my home. It's noisy filthy, smells like Russian, and the people there are rude. I've spent quite a bit of money there, mostly going to Russian restaurants and music and books shops.


I love music, and I love to read books. As of late, it's simple to find Russian literature on Kindle. So I stopped buying hard copies books. My wife, who's a hoarder has a small space in her home, and I try to stay clear of buying unnecessary stuff. While stacks and stacks of books seemed smart at the beginning, as they became old they began to look dull and dreary. youtube download web Then I moved them to my garage.

Music is another matter. Because I drive a lot as a driver, my job requires that I listen to lots of music. As an Russian native, it's difficult for me to enjoy the music that I listen to in America. I simply don't like rap, hip hop, rock, metal and pop. And all the new age songs that children love to dance to.. Old Russian music is my favourite music, particularly the ones with prison themes. They're still popular after 20 years away, and they are not something that gets on CDs, - mostly tapes in cars, and YouTube videos. Youtube is where everything happens. After returning home from working, I can spend hours listening to Youtube music.

I have a great playlist with 300 songs that I am in love with. Because I have this treasure that I have, I am able to easily get used to music. 300 songs is quite a bit. But when I want the songs to be heard in my car, I don’t always have access to the internet. I need it to drive, and for navigation. I do the preparations at home. I'm currently in the middle. I take a few recordings on Youtube, then I convert those mp3s to MP3 files using my laptop. Finally, I take that CD to the car, and I can listen. This site can print out a Youtube playlist, then convert every song into an mp3 file to save on my personal computer. Then you can transfer the music onto an audio CD. Sometimes I make mistake and just make data CD, that won't play in my car stereo. The quality of the recorded audio is incredible. I don't require internet connection to play music on mp3. I simply insert the CDs into my car stereo slot. When I reach Manhattan the music from Russia can be heard booming.

It's easy and inexpensive to save videos from Youtube as MP3 files. Then you can download them to your Smartphone. One of my acquaintances connected his phone to his car stereo. It was playing great sound quality in under two seconds. He was also able stream Spotify as well as Pandora radio. It's not even requiring the most internet connection. I'm guessing this is the next thing I'll test. However, I'll only use free wifi.
