--- In a prison that was an enemy prison, I could not access the internet to view my presentation. I also had to fix the problem.

It was my personal worst failure on a business trip I was invited to join the group of my coworkers. We were headed south to meet one of the largest oil tycoons of the Middle Eastern. The presentation had several stages and I was presented one of them since I was the person who was most involved in the work. It was my opportunity to demonstrate to my manager that I'm prepared to play in the big leagues, ready to play the games with the bigger girls. This may seem offensive, but I meant adult females. or, better yet, business women.

It was great. The exact time and location of the portion which was mine was given to me. It was scheduled to take place in an underground bunker. I was in charge of security on the internet in the panic room of the local, insanely wealthy businessman. I will not name names or tituls in this story as I don’t want people to know the identity of the person I wrote about. The purpose of the demonstration was to recreate a actual sequence of events that would cause the businessman to flee to his panic room with close family members and a few army guards. In the beginning, I wanted to present the slides, explain how to deal with these situations of force and how to remain calm and not lose one's mind.


The group went underground to the room that was dark. It was kept dark due to the vast amount of weapons which is located within its walls. This was quite a scary scenario. Let's talk about the facts. I am creating the powerpoint slide. What? There's no Internet in this area? Is that really true? You are not kidding. Lockdown has already started and there's no way to gain access to the email where the presentation is located. This isn't the first time. Last night, I made use of Youtube to convert mp3s to download audio. This enabled me to remember my speech much better than just reading it out on paper.
