--- I once had no internet connection in an enemy camp to access my presentation. This was how I solved the situation.

It was one of my most embarrassing business trip. We were traveling south to meet one of the most powerful oil tycoons of the Middle Eastern region. There were several phases to the presentation and I was given one of them because I was involved in the project. This was my opportunity to prove to my manager that I'm up for the big leagues and join the big girls. While it may be offensive, I was referring to adult women or, better yet business women.

It went well. I was told that the job was mine, and it was to be located in the underground bunker. This is because I was responsible the security of the in the panic room of a wealthy local business man. I'm going to keep names and tituls out of this report, because I do not intend to blame anyone else or make anyone recognize me through my writing assignments. The presentation was designed to mimic a real-life chain of events that would cause this business man to withdraw into his home in panic with close family members and a small army. The original plan was to present the demonstration and then show how to deal in such situations.


We all went underground in the darkened space. The room was dark to conceal the excessive weaponry found inside the walls. It was quite a terrifying scenario. Let's get it over with. The lockdown has already started, so there is no way to escape and access the email that contains your presentation. This is not the first time I'm doing it. Tonight, I went online Youtube to mp3 converter , and apart from copying audio from the video of the presentation to work more in remembering my speech instead of reading it out on paper, I also downloaded the video mp4 version of the presentation itself. I was looking for the best audio formats, but finally finally found the one I'm currently looking for the exact presentation. It's in my laptop, ready-to-go.

I was fortunate. Unforeseen circumstances prevented me from connecting to the Internet. I was able to save the presentation and bring it back with video and audio. I was able to memorize the majority of it. Just a 3 minute speech that conveyed layers of security and confidence, so much so that we've signed 47 new customers of bigger calibre, which will bring contracts worth hundreds of thousands. We're hoping to keep working with them into the future.
