This guide will cover the steps you will need to follow when using the CurseForge launcher.
1. Install the CurseForge launcher, which can be done from here - https://curseforge.overwolf.com/ 2. Browse the Curse Modpack Lists for the modpacks you wish to download. To do this, click on "Minecraft", then select "Browse modpacks". 3. Once you've found the pack you want, click on it.
4. Click the "Download Server Pack".
5. Save the zip file to your computer 6. After downloading is complete, extract the files to a folder. 7. Rename the.jar file not named "minecraft_server", to "custom.jar". (This will often be called "Forge" and the name of the package).
Notice: In some cases, you may need to run the Forge installer file first to download and install necessary library files. This is often the case if a folder called "libraries” doesn't yet exist.
8. FTP allows you to upload the contents of the folder, but not the directory itself, to the base directory on your server. We recommend using FileZilla (FileZilla guide).
The upload of.bat or.sh files may fail, but don’t worry! This is normal and the files are not required.
9. Set your server type to Custom JAR in the control panel. See the image below.

10. Start your server. Now, you can launch your CurseForge modpack.
