Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him a BSc. in Architecture.


AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He is also a recipient of an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was at one point a man who was married to Anita Obhodaghe. He and her have two beautiful children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry journey while still at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Lagos is the main location for the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide ministry that has millions and associates around the world.

BLW was the most well-known Christian ministry on TV across Africa, through its"Atmosphere for Miracles" programme in 2002. The show was cancelled in the month of May, 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would cease broadcasting miraculous events on television.

Pastor Chris's Ministry encompasses four areas: publishing ministry; healing ministry; television ministry; and the teaching ministry. He derived the healing school, the atmosphere for miracles, and the Pastor Chris global prayer network from these ministries.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative aiming to increase the leadership potentials Africans have, was founded. The foundation recognizes, honors and assists youngsters Africans who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills by influencing their generations positively. They do this through education in youth empowerment, as well as mentorship.

The foundation recognizes the young leaders by awarding them an award ceremony called The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. This foundation aids these poor children and communities through providing sustainable and participatory interventions like child development programs for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children's schools, as well as other programs.
