Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor Author, pastor, faith-healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring interpretation of God’s Word has inspired millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith who was nurtured by a family of faith and was supported by his parents. He was the oldest of four children born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry encompasses the entire family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the gospel of God with the world and is also known as CSO, she is an accomplished gospel artist, award-winning and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time He founded the church that would eventually grow to become one of largest worldwide. His small prayer group, called 'Youth for Christ,' would soon become one of the campus' most popular groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, under Pastor Chris's direction, the LoveWorld ministry was an innovator in satellite television and Christian programming and production. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, continuously on free-to air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry operates two healing schools located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry trained choirs. Many of these singers can go on to be successful solo artists because of the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's inspiration and guidance.

The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that is focused on the ongoing work of Pastor Chris. Its mission is to find and train young, talented leaders. A passionate philanthropist Pastor Chris Oyakhilome established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) COFI, Non-profit, non-governmental, non-profit organization with the mission to help the most vulnerable individuals as well as communities in the poorest regions and countries of the world.

Chris Oyakhilome Biography Apart from preaching the Gospel message, the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that provide vital services and hope for the most vulnerable and marginalized people. COFI has five partners that have a common goal of raising living standards in some of the poorest areas.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFthe Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all under COFI. Bible For All Mission, the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and COFI umbrella. Each of these organisations strives to improve wellbeing, health, and spirits, especially those most at risk.
