Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God's grace was passed down to her son at an early age.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has chosen the way of her father, sharing the gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained a BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University.
