Pastor, faith healer and writer, Chris Oyakhilome is well-known to his fans as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also known as Christ Embassy. It is located in Lagos. His unique and inspiring telling of God’s Word has inspired thousands of people across the globe.

Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, supported by loving and devoted parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace on her son from an early age.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon decided to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God with the world. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned a BSc in Architecture. Oyakhilome He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He is a recipient of an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a minister and servant of the Lord.

While still in university While still in university, the Man of God began what would be the largest congregation worldwide. It began with an uninvolved group of believers called 'Youth For Christ'. The group would later grow to be the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers across the globe.

Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa all day long on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is an ardent charity-minded person who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) COFI, which is a non profit, nonprofit organization that has as its mission to assist those who are most vulnerable as well as communities within the poorest countries and regions across the globe.

Apart from preaching the Gospel message, the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs which are charged with providing vital services and hope to the most vulnerable and marginalized people. COFI is a partnership of five who are dedicated to improving the living conditions in some of the most degraded areas.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations works to enhance the lives of individuals, health, spirits, and well-being.

His charity also provides nourishment for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in building strong communities by promoting responsible governance and accountability in leadership. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris also promotes sustainable development in Africa and other fragile regions of Africa through COFI.
