Youtube keeps pushing ads on my children watching videos related to babies like baby sharks, and other channels.

Since I handed my baby girl her tablet, this has been my concern for the past two months. According to some, they help babies grow, improve cognitive and other abilities. They also help promote social and mental progress. It is true that I can see my daughter loving the material, she is watching it with smiles bursting, eyes shining, and giggles waiting to be released from her lips. I enjoy watching her get amused. But I am not able to understand all the commercials. My child isn't an ad-buyer, so why are you pushing some of the most un-baby-like advertisements onto my baby on YouTube?

First of all, infants aren't able to comprehend commercials. It's both a loss in money as well as a loss of resources. They aren't even babies! If you're saying that Why are you playing these ads for infants? Are you saying that if the father or mother, or other baby care givers are watching, they'll benefit from the ads? It's a bit confusing and can be annoying.

It's the same for cat videos. My cat loves all of these incredible cat videos. It's usually mice or birds but the thing is my kitty watches them without moving for hours... It's like hunting, I think. The advertisements keep interrupting the videos, and who is it trying to catch? My cat doesn't watch these videos. She doesn't even care about advertisements. They might think that I am watching these videos with my cat. In fairness, they are partly right. I find myself watching inconvenient cat videos more often than I do anything useful.

That's how I found the perfect solution. It's basically downloading Youtube videos from my computer onto my tablet or my daughter's to play later. This is as if I were offline and needed to store the video on my hard drive instead of streaming it from Youtube. You get the idea. This site gives me the option to keep video on my own computer and not have it transferred to Youtube every time my cat is interested in watching birds. And so now I just double-click this MP4 file on my desktop. It then plays in VLC immediately, without commercials, goes directly to the entertainment of my cat.

Similar procedure applies to baby videos. The videos my daughter likes to see are downloaded from Youtube to my PC and then transfer them to her table. Sometimes, I just play the songs one at a time on her tablet. It is more efficient to visit this website on a computer on your desktop and then copy them to wherever you want the videos. Maybe it's me, an old school...
