This is a tale that describes my time in trouble, and how I got out of it by bringing TV along with me.

We were just a few hours from home, 2 states to the west, we hadn't left the country yet, but we didn't know what was to come. It was exactly like films of horror, driving in darkness on an unpaved road with thick bush on either side almost like a forest. But, we were only about a couple of hours from home, and we had not yet left the country. The result was a delay of several hours. Then, we discovered that the vehicle did not have a tire lifter to change the tire. It's possible that someone stole it, or misplaced it.

After 3 hours of tire change, we finally arrived at our final destination. It was snowing , and an eerie silence surrounded the surrounding areas. Then it happened an avalanche that caused massive amounts of snow on the road. We were then right in the middle of all that moving, swirling snow. yt2 mate We didn't want to get stuck under any tree that had completely fallen off the ground. The snow floated over us. Navigation was not totally lost and we were able to push through the snow. Then we realized that we were stuck till the day light.


I knew the direction we were headed and that's why I created three Ipads that were loaded with HULU and Netflix already downloaded shows. I also utilize an online video downloading site to download episodes of shows I love that are on Youtube or Daily Motion. I can't get these shows to play on any streaming service. It's super convenient to be able of downloading full-length movies from such websites and having them accessible on my phone in the event in an emergency. I didn't want any time , and instead distract myself with television shows and other eye candy I brought with me. If we didn't get stuck, we'd be watching these shows even before we completed unpacking the cabin. Because, of course these days, the cabin comes stocked with beverages and firewood... Anyone can use the hot tub should they wish to. It is right within the bedroom.

We were able to enjoy the cabin we stayed in despite it being somewhat extravagant. However, after the long drive all we wanted to do was unwind in the bubbles. The 2nd Ipad was also utilized, and all the shows that were recorded on it were watched. I am a television-loving child. I'm aware of those who grew up without television or did not have it as an adult. I would not advise you to leave your baby at five months old watching the TV and see it develop. Absolutely not. However, I will say that occasionally some time spent on television is better for the baby than spending two hours watching it. It is not easy to raise your baby on your own. But don't let that deter you. It's a noble option. It's possible to have everything, but in moderation. TV shouldn't be your only source of entertainment. However, don't let anyone tell that you're not suitable for your child. Youtube has hundreds of educational channels that all babies could benefit from. Be open to the concept, and but then decide to turn it down if you don't think it's working for you. Saying no at the beginning isn't the best decision.
