Sydney Tenders For North West Rail Link
Sydney Tenders have been released for cost planning services, engineering , rail system and architecture services to help you finalise design and operations options delivery from the new North West rail link, a 23-kilometre rail line between Epping and Rouse Hill. The project includes construction of six new stations at Cherrybrook (Franklin Road), Castle Hill, The Hills Centre, Norwest Business Park, Kellyville (Burns Road) and Rouse Hill. The North West rail link includes approximately 3,000 park and ride spaces and bus interchange facilities.

Railway infrastructure specialist for engineering, rail systems and architecture services will form an integral part from the North West Rail Link Project Team, providing ongoing technical expertise to ensure the end product meets the requirements commuters and also the community.

"The O'Farrell Government is pressing ahead with all the North West Rail Link, and also this is the one other help the operation of fast-tracking this vital little bit of infrastructure," Ms Berejiklian said.

"The families and the businesses in the North West have waited for a specified duration, which is the reason the O'Farrell Government is decided to deliver this rail link at the earliest opportunity," she said.

"The successful tenderer will undertake development design studies such as rail

systems, tunnelling assessments, station infrastructure planning, rail safety and risk assessments."

The studies will include an assessment all previous design and planning work on the

project. Further tenders are increasingly being prepared for masterplanning and urban design services, geotechnical advisory services, geotechnical site investigations and land survey.

"There has me overwhelmed business and community support for fast-tracking the North West Rail Link," Ms Berejiklian said.

The North West rail link can provide rail access the very first time through the growing North West region to major employment centres in Norwest Business Park, Macquarie Park, St Leonards, Chatswood, North Sydney and also the CBD.

By providing rail access right through to Rouse Hill, the new line will likely support future residential and commercial rise in the North West growth centre. The rail link assists a population of 360,000, which is expected to grow to 485,000 by 2021.

By 2036, the rail link will service a spot with over 145,000 jobs.

The North West rail link can give residents a much better trains and alternative and greatly reduce the number of buses on our roads, reduce bus congestion within the Sydney CBD and deliver more reliable trains and travel times from your North West.
