This server is totally free and powerful enough for a BedrockServer. In comparison, a similar amount ram costs $5 per Month.

Unless you opt to, you won’t be charged.
Next we need to create a virtual machine to run the Server
Fill in the fields as shown
Scroll down to the section 'Image and shape'. Make sure that "Canonical Ubuntu 20.04" is selected, then check that the shape is set to AMD VM.Standard.E2.1.Micro
Note: The pre-set shape may not work with Ubuntu. To change the Image, simply switch the shape to one that does.
Next, we will need to select a virtual clouds network (VCN). If you have an existing VCN that has a public subnet, select it. If you do not have an existing VCN with a public subnet, choose 'Create another virtual cloud network'. Then, choose 'Create a public subnet' and accept the default names. Next, ensure that you have selected 'Assign A Public IPv4 Address'. Without this, you will not be able connect to this server over the internet. ).
Now we need the "SSH" key pair to be associated with this VM. If you're familiar with this concept and already have a public key that you want to use, choose 'Upload public key files' and upload your public key. These keys can be thought of as unique identifiers that will allow you to securely log into your server. Click "Generate SSH key pairing" to save your public and private keys to your local machine. These keys will be used in a short time to log in the VM.
You will need your Private Key to log in later so don’t lose it.
Click 'Create' to leave the default boot volume settings.
Click 'Create' to be redirected the VM details pages. Your VM instance is now in a PROVISIONING condition.
After about 30-60 seconds, the state will switch from RUNNING to RUNNING. Find your public IP address and copy it.
Next, we need to open ports to allow players to access the server.
Next, click Add Ingress Rules
We need to connect to our VM remotely in order to install the Minecraft software. If you are not familiar with SSH, I recommend that you first read up on it
Powershell is a good choice if you're on Windows. Open Powershell and type this: powershell -i (filepath to your private keys) ubuntu@ (VM ip addresses)
BEFORE: This is where you should research how to secure your private key file.
This is what it looks like when you succeed in logging into your vm
Next, you will need multiple programs installed to get started.
These commands are to be used:
sudo apt-get install firewalld
These commands will enable firewall access and screen to ensure that your server is running after you have finished it.
Next, enter powershell during your ssh session
sudo firewall cmd --permanent -zone=public --addport=19132/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-port=19132/udp
sudo firewall cmd --reload
Then:
sudo su - Minecraft
mkdir Bedrock
wget https://minecraft.azureedge.net/bin-linux/bedrock-server-1.17.2.01.zip -O server.zip
unzip server.zip
rmserver.zip
If necessary visit https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server/bedrock and check the latest download link and substitute it.
Then, execute these commands:
chmod +x./bedrock_server
This will start the server.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_server
You can connect to your server now using the VM's IP and the standard Port, the name is irrelevant.
However, if you close your terminal, your server will stop. To stop your server, type "stop" or close your window, and then log in again (note: you'll need these commands again sudo su- Minecraft).
cd Bedrock
Type screen into the box and hit enter.
Next, run this command: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_server
You should now have a functioning bedrock server, with 1 gb ram, and 1 xenon core, good for atleast 20 players. You can also do this for Java servers by clicking this link.
