Pastor, faith healer, author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome, known by his followers as Pastor Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, which is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique method of sharing the Word of God has inspired millions across the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, raised by a loving family and supported by his parents. He is the oldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace on her son at an early stage.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. His brother Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon follows in her father's example of sharing God's Word with the World. Also known by CSO as a singer, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to go into the ministry and be an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when he founded the church which would grow to be one of largest in the world. His small prayer group, 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of the campus' most well-known groups. They would later go on to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.


Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become an innovator in satellite TV and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa across the world of the world, throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year which allow miracles to take place.
