On the hunt for the best Minecraft builds for Java and Windows 10 edition? Mojang's creative sandbox has been around for more than a decade. Devoted artists and architects have created a dizzying array a cool builds for your enjoyment.



The best Minecraft builds are available for you to take you on an all-inclusive trip that includes not only this world but many others - without food or accommodation. This list will take to Middle-earth, Tamriel and even the RMS Titanic. You'll still be able to get home in time for tea. As you will find in our selections of the best Minecraft skins or seeds, this collection has something to suit every player.

Imperial Summer Palace



The Imperial Summer Palace is based on many of Europe's most famous buildings, taking inspiration from Schonbrunn Palace, Versailles, and St. Petersburg's Hermitage. It's regal, both outside and in, with its gorgeous gardens complementing vast, opulent interiors.



Fallingwater House



It just so happens, that Minecraft is a great place to build a home. This is proven by many replicas of Frank Lloyd Wright’s angular Fallingwater. This tutorial will show you how to build a Minecraft boat.



This interpretation, by Lilnekochan might be our favorite. But then there's also this one by NovocainStain. And the one Waterijsje made.



The Titanic



There are many Minecraft mega-builds of the Titanic, including this one from way back when Mojang's sandbox was in beta. However, we prefer this French version because it displays the most detail and colour.



Minas Tirith



There are many things that inspire us in high fantasy, as well as real-world architecture. Take this fantastic Minas Tirith render, for example, which is as beautiful as it is imposing.

Minecraft Middle-earth



If someone were to start work on a Minecraft construct that encompassed all of Middle-earth, all those famous places from the... Wait, what? Are you serious?



Excuse us, we just received word that the Middle-earth project was underway. Although it is not complete, it is already one of our favorite Minecraft servers.



No collection of magnificent Minecraft builds would be complete without something inspired by Game of Thrones. Here's a small portion of the massive and inspiring WesterosCraft server.



Above you can see the city of Sunspear with its very reflective sea-surface. Don't forget to check out the brilliant work done on King's Landing in Minecraft, too.



Consilium



Then there's the Dwarven City of Consilium, by Creolucis, whose construction is so magnificent that it's difficult for us to just pick one single picture that shows off just how awesome a Minecraft map it is. It's enormous and the dictionary definition of grandeur.



Adamantis



How does an epic Minecraft mega build of sixty million blocks sound? Jamdelaney1, a three-month-long creator of the sprawling city Adamantis, pushed the boundaries back.



This enormous metropolis, which reaches up to the top of a hill, is decorated with huge doors, reflecting pool, and huge colonnades. Sadly, however, it has nothing to do with the 80s new wave artist.



Mage's College of Meridia



Adamantis is reminiscent of the Mages College of Meridia. This cool Minecraft build was created last year by Block Fortress. It took its cues form Skyrim's College of Winterhold. Perhaps it even out-magics Minecraft Pottercraft.



The Shining maze



You can lose yourself in Minecraft. This labyrinth was made by redditor Chris P and is basically a Minecraft maze inspired by The Shining. Although Stanley Kubrick's horror movie hotel couldn't be replicated, this is still impressive.



New Port Notch



In recent history, New Port Notch has become one of the most well-known Minecraft projects out there - so much so it spawned its own subreddit. The towering city is the work of just two players: LG193 and ThatDutchLad. It is so vast that you will need its bespoke subway system to get anywhere.



Crafting Azeroth



Crafting Azeroth is an ongoing project to create a complete World of Warcraft replica in Minecraft. It sounds absurd - a madman’s dream really - but it's progressing remarkably and it's truly a triumph of human endeavour.



Mondstadt



This impressive build, which was built to a 1:1.15-scale, took the Skyblock Squad nearly 400 hours. This faithful recreation of Mondstadt’s iconic windmills and the Statue of the Seven will be a hit with Genshin Impact fans. Incredibly, this larger-than-life rendition also includes interior spaces such as the Favonius Cathedral nave and Diluc's bar, the Angel's Share.



Starry Night



You don't have to be an art historian to recognise the inspiration for this particular build. Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night, which is beloved by many, is considered the most famous painting in the whole world. You can find it on t-shirts, travel mugs, and bedspreads, so it was only a matter of time before we'd find it in Minecraft too.



ChrisDaCow created this astonishingly faithful replica of Van Gogh's brushstrokes in a month. He used his Minecraft texture packs to match each one. Their desire to recreate Van Gogh's famous post-Impressionist painting on a 3D canvas gave rise to a new way of viewing this iconic artwork. It's beautiful. We also find it a little frightening to see it in 3D. It's difficult not to imagine Van Gogh's eldritch horror as the starry night.



Elden World



Elden Ring has brought the Souls series to mainstream status since its release. It has also introduced a new generation. SeriousCraft's Elden World is as much of a love letter as it is a project in its own right. While it is an adventure map first and foremost, it still belongs on this list as an impressive recreation of The Lands Between.



The six-kilometre map boasts over 20 different dungeons, including Stormveil Castle, and even includes its very own Erdtree. This build will allow you to play Elden Ring for 15+ hours.



H.R. Giger



H.R. H.R. Everbloom Games is a group of master builders who have created a sprawling tribute for Giger's work.



Between the vast atriums cloaked in shadow and a fully realised space jockey nestled in its cockpit, these blocky reconstructions manage to capture the spirit of Giger's work like never before. Space is a place where you can't be heard.



The Cyberpunk Initiative



The Cyberpunk Project isn't a one-off reproduction. However, it draws heavily from Cyberpunk 2077 Night City. This project proudly shows off its sleeve. The neon-lit skyline of this sprawling metropolis is dominated and illuminated by gigantic mega skyscrapers, holograms and towering megascrapers.



Elysium Fire's Cyberpunk Project is his brainchild. It is so large that it could cause crashes on older rigs. If this doesn't qualify to be a top-tier Minecraft megabuild, we don’t know what will.



Novigrad



Elysium Fire also built another mega-build that is quite impressive. TALKEGYPT Elysium Fire’s Novigrad is not a replica of The Cyberpunk Project. The team took inspiration from The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt to create the elegant castle spires and medieval streets.



We must admit that we enjoyed Novigrad's namesake, Geralt of Rivia, but this version includes a hand-built harbour. It is quite impressive, and puts to shame its predecessor. For a true medieval feast of the eyes, make sure that you have the best Minecraft Shaders installed.



Witchcraft and Wizardry



Even though you may not have received your mail, don't let that stop you from attending one the best magical institutions in the wizarding universe! The Floo Network's Witchcraft and Wizardry provides Minecraft Muggles with an adventure on par to the best Minecraft mods.



Although you can take classes and study spells, the scale of this structure is remarkable. The school grounds are fully accessible, as well as Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade - you can even play Quidditch!
