Following his primary and secondary education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where he received a BSc. in Architecture.


AAU also conferred the honourary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two gorgeous children.

While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. Chris Oyakhilome The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church's headquarters is in Lagos. Believer's LoveWorld is now a global ministry with thousands of followers and associates all around the world.

BLW was the most well-known Christian ministry on TV across Africa, through its atmosphere for miracles programme in 2002. The program was canceled in May 2004 when President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches must stop broadcasting miracles.

Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris's Ministry comprises four parts: publishing ministry for healing and teaching on television, as well as a television ministry for TV ministry. From these ministries, he created the healing school, the atmosphere for miracles and the Pastor Chris global prayer network.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative that aims to increase the potential of leadership in Africans have, was founded. They do this by providing education, youth empowerment and mentorship.

The foundation honors the achievements of the young leaders by presenting an award ceremony dubbed the Future Africa Leaders"Award. This award ceremony which started 5years ago, holds on the Eve of every new year, at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena (LCA) Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja. The winners are presented with an award by Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for children is an religiously-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was started in 2005 with the intention to help vulnerable, weak orphaned kids around the world.

The foundation helps these destitute children and their families through long-lasting and participative interventions that include child development programs, childcare programmes and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School and many more.

Trauma Care International Foundation


The Trauma Care International Foundation was created in order to enhance the health status and lifespan of communities and countries through the promotion of better emergency response in the event of accidents or emergencies. The foundation's mission is to accomplish this through community-based initiatives that promote health education, advocacy as well as advocacy. It also assists in implementing national policies regarding trauma care.

More than 1000 courses on first aid, safety, and emergency management have been conducted by the foundation. Record has it that, they have been able to educate thousands of school pupils as well as law enforcement officers as well as teachers, caregivers and road transport workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global Christian organization that offers medical aid and assistance for those internally displaced or are refugees from regions affected by natural or human-made catastrophes.

The outreach is comprised of a network of christian health professionals, paramedics, and students from across the globe. The volunteers offer emergency medical treatment, emergency assistance and long-term health care solutions for those in crisis.

VMC also provides local health services and manpower training to health workers. VMC outreach is open to all with the primary goal to improve health, and also provide humanitarian help for the poor.

Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission, an organization of the Christian faith, is committed to the production and distribution of the Bible in a format and language they are able to comprehend.
