Youtube: How can I locate music that is popular, hot, and trending across other countries with Youtube?

It's something I've considered for a while. As a citizen of the United States I've been involved in pop culture. Slippers worn by Dua Lipa today are my source of inspiration. Kanye West, drooling at his adorable wife. I love pop culture, and all of the actors. I would make a great host on one of the Gossip & Hollywood Info-Talk shows. Hosts share the personal details of the stars of Hollywood. The hosts then switch to less popular stars and finish with a blast from the past or glimpses for start that haven’t been seen for a long time. I would share all these stories and rumors with passion, joy as current hosts play a few, but never be able to relate to the story.


As such I'm trying to add more music from other countries in my listening library. For starters I'm trying to figure the music that is most well-known in different countries. I began with a handful of European monoliths, such as Germany, UK France Sweden Spain Portugal etc. After hours of watching Youtube videos, I was convinced I was a pro and that it would give me the information I wanted. However, not so simple.. It seems that all you can see is the hottest and most popular music in their area and their country at best. So I looked at other websites that have the top 20 most popular videos on Youtube for their nation.. Well, some did, but the majority of them were outdated, nobody really wants to blog about most popular 20 songs every week. This is something for TV, right? There are also hit-parades and similar stuff.

It was not very reliable as such connections are known to be lost and slow, however it seemed like a viable solution, so I did that. The limited number of countries available and the annoying need to seek out reliable sources were getting my attention..
