Pastor, faith healer and author Chris Oyakhilome is popular with his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also called Christ Embassy. It is based in Lagos. His unique way of telling the Word of God has inspired millions across the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man

He is the eldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. Chris Oyakhilome Family She was a pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the gospel of God the world. She is a gifted gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a grant was made to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He received an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to become a minister and servant of the Lord.

The Man of God created what would eventually become one of the biggest churches in the world while He was still a student at university, with the small group of prayer known as "Youth for Christ," that eventually grew into one of one of the largest groups of its kind on campus. It also served as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the globe.


Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa to the rest of the world 24/7 via free-toair networks. Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry has two Healing Schools based in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris holds seasonally sessions which allow miraculous events to occur.

Oyakhilome Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches to have an ensemble trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry and under the direction and direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a lot of these musicians go on to have successful solo careers.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that seeks to continue the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. It aims at identifying and developing young, gifted leaders, and preparing them for a positive future by recognizing and assisting them in their amazing achievements. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a passionate social entrepreneur and founder of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) COFI, which is a non-profit, nonprofit organization that has as its mission to assist the most vulnerable people and communities in the least developed countries and regions across the world.

As well as preaching the Gospel as well as preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has also established a number of NGOs with the an aim of providing vital aid and hope to in need, the poor, and forgotten souls. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom is committed to improving the living standard in the most remote areas.

COFI supervises the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to enhance the health, lives and spirits of the most in need.

His charity provides food and shelter for the most vulnerable. Pastor Chris is a firm believer in the support of strong communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the advancement of responsible governance, accountable leadership and sustainable development in Africa as well as other areas that are vulnerable of the world according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
