Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born on December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the eldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace on her son at an early stage.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother , and a is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry is home to many gospel artists that are the top-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO, has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father, sharing the gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. Oyakhilome He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a minister and serving the Lord.

The Man of God started what would become one of the largest church congregations in the world when the man was still at university, with an unassuming prayer group known as 'Youth for Christ', that eventually grew into one of one of the most well-known organization of its kind on campus and would serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

The LoveWorld ministry under the direction of Pastor Chris was an early pioneer in satellite television and Christian TV programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa via free-to -air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on cable and satellite networks around the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. A lot of these singing artists are soloists who have achieved success under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's supervision.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, The Man of God also founded a number of NGOs that have the mission of offering vital aid and hope to the needy, poor, or forgotten. COFI's five partners all have a common aim: to raise living standards and enhance the quality of life in the poorest areas.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission.
