Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor, faith heaver, TV host, author Chris Oyakhilome. Also known by the people who follow him, Pastor Chris is the founder/president of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique interpretation of God's Word has been a source of inspiration for millions across the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving, committed parents. He is the father of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed down to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Oyakhilome KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that is home several top-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father's lead of sharing the Word of God with all people. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a gifted gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He also holds an honorary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.

The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of the largest worldwide. His prayer group, 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of campus' most well-known groups. Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris led the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite television and Christian television programming and production. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa across the world, throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church operates two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions where miraculous events are witnessed.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral part in worship. Pastor Chris invites Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Chris Oyakhilome Family Many of these singers are successful in their solo careers.

Pastor Chris is also an author and prolific writer who has written numerous books and devotionals. His most well-known publication is Rhapsody of Realities. A daily devotional as well as a study guide to prayer that provides inspirational insights into God's Word. Rhapsody of Realities was translated into several languages and made available to millions of readers around the world.

A large portion of Pastor Chris's books are available online via the Pastor Chris Digital Library. The library provides access to hundreds of hours of video and audio recordings in multiple languages.
