Pastor, faith healer, TV host, author, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, which is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. He has inspired millions around the world with his distinctive telling of God's Word.

Pastor Chris: Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow the path of her father of spreading the Word of God to the world. Chris Oyakhilome Also known as CSO she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and to be a minister.

The Man of God created what would eventually become one of the largest churches in the world while he was still at university, with the small group of prayer known as "Youth for Christ," which later grew into the most popular groups of its kind on campus. It would later serve as the foundation of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast out of Africa to the the world, 24/7, all the time on free-to-air channels. Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry also has two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the United States. Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music are an important part of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these musicians can go on to be accomplished solo artists thanks to the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's guidance and spirit.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent philanthropist and founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) that is a non profit, nonprofit organization that has the goal of helping the most vulnerable individuals as well as communities within the least developed nations and regions around the world.

In addition to proclaiming the gospel, The Man of God also established NGOs which are tasked with providing essential services and hope to the poor, needy or neglected. COFI has five partners who are committed to improving the living conditions in the least-served regions.

Under the auspices of COFI is the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children The Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve people's lives as well as their health, spirits, and wellbeing.

The charity also provides assistance for children in need. Pastor Chris believes in building communities through COFI as well as The InnerCity Mission. He is a proponent of responsible governance, good governance leadership and sustainable development across Africa as well as other regions of the world as per the Sustainable Development Goals.
