Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, raised by a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. Chris Oyakhilome Family She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace to her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by the entire family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. The LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry houses a variety of gospel artists who are top-selling globally.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO, has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the gospel of God the world. She is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned a BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. Additionally, he holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian television programming and production. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations available across cable and satellite networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry has two healing schools located in South Africa.
