Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained an BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he felt God calling him to become a minister for the Lord.
