Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The man, the educator, mentor and the philanthropist

Pastor, faith healer, writer, and TV host, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his fans as Pastor Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique interpretation of God's Word has enthralled thousands of people across the globe.

Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. https://www.facebook.com/PastorChrisLive Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God's Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son very early.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that is home several top-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following the route of her father in preaching the Word of God to the world. Also known CSO, she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. He is a recipient of an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to enter into the ministry and become an ambassador for the Lord.

While still in university The Man of God established what would eventually be the largest church worldwide. It began as a small group of prayer called 'Youth For Christ'. The group would later become the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers across the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a committed donor who established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) an independent, non-profit organization with the mission of aiding the most vulnerable communities and people in the most impoverished regions and nations of the globe.

Apart from preaching the gospel message, the Man Of God has also created NGOs that provide essential services and hope to those who are the least vulnerable and marginalized people. COFI has five partners who are committed to improving the living conditions in some of the most degraded regions.

Under the auspices COFI is COFI's InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to improve the lives of people and health, well-being and overall wellbeing.
