Pitango invests in companies in their earliest stages and is developing key areas of high-tech. Pitango has made over 200 investments in the past and had more than 85 exits. Rami was appointed the managing partner of Pitango in 2000. He led several deals that led to successful exits for fortune 500 companies like Broadcom as well as Marvel, Cisco, and Apple over the next 18 years.

Rami Bechacha's Challenging Past
While Rami Beracha is a successful person today, his path wasn't always easy. Like most Israelis, Beracha joined the army as a young man. He served as an combat soldier in the Paratrooper's Brigade during the Lebanon War. Rami served as a member of a rescue group which assisted wounded soldiers in a minefield. It was the year 1983. Rami was unfortunate to have fallen on a hidden mining and suffered fractured feet and an injured hand.

He was through one of the most difficult periods of his life, and hospitalization was the final result. He couldn't move and sunk into depression and despair. The hopes of building his army career seemed unattainable to him, and he was unsure of who he was. Rami did manage to get over his grief and discover the drive to keep living and pursue new dreams. He made a decision to be stronger and more efficient than he was before the injury. Rami was determined to test new extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding, kitesurfing as well as climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro. As he continues to better himself, he sometimes feels like his past unwounded self is racing him and forcing him to go further.
Rami is a volunteer and gives to many organizations. Rami is passionate about helping young wounded soldiers. Rami took a group injured soldiers to Nepal in 2016, where was given the rank of major. In 2018 he received the rank of major in the paratrooper and fire brigades within the Israeli military. He was a dreamer as an aspiring young man, and they came true despite the many difficulties. His story and the passion he has for his cause provide a powerful inspiration to anyone who comes across them. Rami didn’t let his injuries hinder her. He was always trying new methods, learning and growing until he became stronger than he was before.
