When choosing a dream to pursue, take your time. It is essential to ensure you pick the right path. You have to be truly passionate about the dream and believe that it is a good idea to succeed. It is more important than what business you choose to pursue that you believe in the idea behind. It's possible to make changes along the way once you've begun your journey. It's much better to make changes and correct things early instead of investing more money later.
Rami Beracha's advice to students at Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based upon his own experiences. Rami, a young male was adamant about attending law school. While he was not sure whether it was the best choice for him, he continued to study law and got an MBA in New York. He then worked overseas in a law office. Through his experience at the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was more passionate about business, more so than law. He quit his job, and he moved to France to pursue an MBA.
Following her graduation in 1996, Beracha was a part of the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. This is Israel's largest venture capital firm. Pitango concentrates on companies in their early stages developing core areas of high-tech with more than 200 investments and 85 exits so far. Rami became managing partner of Pitango in 2000. Although Rami Beracha is a successful person today, his path was not always smooth. Beracha like many Israelis joined the army as an infant soldier. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and participated during the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue team that went out to assist soldiers injured in minefields. It happened just after the war ended. Rami was fortunate to fall on an underground mine and sustained a broken foot as well as a swollen hand.
His time in the rehabilitation hospital was one of the most challenging times in his entire life. He couldn't move, and was overwhelmed with despair and depression. His hopes of establishing his army career were lost to him, and he didn’t even know what he truly was. Rami found the strength to dream and live through the pain. He made a decision to be stronger and stronger than he was prior to the injury. Rami decided to take on different extreme sports. Today he enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding, and has been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He sometimes feels like his unwounded past is pushing ahead, even though the effort to get better.

He has volunteered for numerous organisations and also makes donations. He is enthusiastic about helping young men, who suffered from combat injuries. Rami was part of a group of soldiers who suffered injuries while serving in the military in Nepal in the year 2016. He was elevated to the rank of major within both the Israeli paratrooper ranks, as well as the fire brigades. He had his dreams as when he was a teenager and they came to fruition despite all the difficulties. His story and his passion are a true inspiration to others. Rami refused to let his injuries keep him from achieving his goals. He continued learning and experimenting until he finally became more resilient than ever.
