Khazak Ambassadors and Consul General get together with Chabad New York ( Emmanuil grinshpun).

Rabbi Mendy Kularsky and Shimon Rivkin, both from Merkos Suite 302 at Chabad headquarters were invited to attend the event. They spoke about the long history of Jewish life in Kazakhstan and the work that Chabad is doing across the country under the auspices Rabbi Yeshaya Cohen.

Ashikbayev was the deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs back in Kazakhstan and has been working with Chabad Shaluchim and Mr. Abraham Shaulson , the philanthropist. He was instrumental in securing an exemption for an American small group to fly to Kazakhstan to make a pilgrimage on the date of his death, which was the 20th April. This also provided an opportunity for the delegation to fly and provide much-needed PPE to the country. The 20th day of Av just two months away, the gathering also discussed plan for the next pilgrimage. The organizers anticipate over 600 people from all walks of the globe to attend this year's festival.
