The healing arts that are multi-faceted like Dolphin Dance is an aquatic group experience that combines bodywork, contact improvisation, and underwater music. Dolphin Dance was developed by Lilia Cangemi (registered Watsu instructor) and professional dancer. It incorporates many healing techniques, including touch, point work, massage and even touch. The water temperature is around 35 degrees Celsius, which is considered to be the ideal temperature for human beings. Watsu is a therapeutic and healing method which is appropriate for people of all different ages, from infants to elderly people.

The massage is extremely soothing and encourages deep relaxation. The treatment assists the patient to relax their mind and body, which allows them to let go tension and tension in their physical body. The person lying down is able to put their ears underwater during the session, and is relaxed. To help stimulate the body's healing process, the practitioner uses different movements, stretches and stretching techniques.
