The Event Theme was my Story

Tubecon is a worldwide community-driven YouTube event that brings together YouTube creators and their followers in arena-sized public events. Tubecon was first held in August 2014 at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. It was attended by over five thousand people. 1 Tubecon has been held 25 times across four countries (Finland Sweden Spain Switzerland and Switzerland) with over 120,000 people attending each event. In recent years Tubecon has seen an increase in popularity in popularity, as the YouTube and online influencer community has also grown. Tubecon's biggest events attracted over 18,000 people , and included more than 200 YouTubers or online influencers.



Tubecon event program is developed in collaboration with local online influencers and it includes multiple program elements such as Meet & Greets, Tubecon Video Awards panels and concerts. Tubecon 2018 will take place in Finland, Sweden and Germany, and letters of intent were signed in Romania, Latvia, and Austria. [3]

2014[edit]



The Tubecon story began in 2014 when Finnish creators decided to put together an event where they and their viewers could meet in a safe and enjoyable way. [4]



Performers[edit]



Kasmir Justimusfilms MadCraft TCT Robin They also presented Hartwall Arena's Minecraft version on the main stage.



2015[edit]



Tubecon 2015 was held in Hartwall Arena, August 2015[5and attracted more than 10,000 people.



2016[edit]



The Finnish Tubecon was held between 12-13 August 2016. The second day was completely sold out. The event attracted 18,500 people. [6]



Sweden[edit]



Tubecon in Sweden began in Stockholm on January 6, 2016. The event was attended by more than 4,500 people. They also held a tour during autumn, which started on 9 September in Vasteras and concluded on 10 December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube creators visited eight cities. More than 15,000 people attended Tubecon events in Sweden in 2016.



Germany[edit]



The Tubecon was held in Germany on 20 February 2016 in the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. Tickets for VIP and Aftershow were also available.



2017[edit]



The Finnish event took place in Hartwall Arena between 12-13 August and attracted around 17,500 people. [8]



Spain[edit]



The first ever Tubecon Spain was organized on the 18th of February at the wiZink Center in Madrid. The event was attended by more than 4,000 attendees and more than 200 Spanish creators. [9]



Switzerland[edit]



Tubecon Switzerland was organized for the first time in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. [10] Around 2,500 visitors were in attendance at the event. [11]



2018[edit]



Finland[edit]



The Finnish Tubecon was held in Messukeskus Helsinki between 17-18 August for the first time. The event theme was "My Story". The event featured around 200 Finnish YouTubers. Tubecon hosted also international creators from the US, Great Britain, Germany and Thailand in the first Tubecon World Meet. Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart, Softpomz, and MrTrashPack were some of the international creators. A brand new TubeCity concept was introduced during the event. This allowed various categories, like gaming, beauty, fashion, and food, to have their own sections within the city-like event space. In a fresh initiative, Tubecon also introduced Tube Academy which is an educational track for filmmakers and anyone else who wants to understand more about video making and the industry. [12]
