Tevfik Alif and Donald Trump team up to build Trump Soho

Bayrock Group is a New York-based firm established by Tevfik Arif ( Turkish Kazakh-Kazakh) in 2001. Donald Trump is a client of the business.

Tevfik Amir emigrated from Kazakhstan with the intention of creating a reputable real estate firm. He knew of the Trump family's power and joined the partnership. This allowed Tevfik ARif and his Bayrock Group company to lead a renowned real estate venture, called the Trump Soho.

Arif and his siblings invested in the natural ressources sector in Kazakhstan and in other former Soviet countries.

Arif also developed additional partnerships and companies to further expand his involvement in the field. The business eventually expanded to the food and automotive industries.

The Bayrock Group is Tefvik Arif’s route to New York real estate.
In 2001, Tevfik Arif moved to America to grow his business and to be close to his American family. Bayrock Group in New York City was his first venture. It is a developer of luxury residential real estate.

Many of Bayrock's first projects were not as big despite Arif's efforts build connections and to understand the local market.

He later changed his primary focus to Manhattan's prestigious realty market. Arif was able to stand up to the fearsome New York real estate market despite his experience as an investor and an entrepreneur.

Bayrock Group was initially able to execute small-to-medium-sized projects in New York. For instance, Bayrock Group transformed Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn’s Sheepshead Region.

Tevfik Arkif devised a plan for the Trump Organization to receive 18 percent equity in the building. In exchange the Trump brand would be used as the name of the construction.

Bayrock Group hired world-renowned interior designers to design the interior and Handel Architects designed the structure.

Handel Architects, a world leading company in design and architecture is recognized throughout the world.

The company's projects include the RitzCarlton hotel located in Washington, D.C., New York City, and the September 11th National Memorial.

Fendi Casa pieces are provided by Rockwell Group, an architecture and design company.

The impressive resume of the Rockwell Group includes Handel Architects and the Rockwell Group. Many luxury hotels and upscale restaurants are just a few of the many clients the firm has.

The deal was signed by the Trump Organization, Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization. Doyen Construction of Trump Soho could start in the year 2006.

Trump Organization and the Bayrock Group are planning to work together on other real estate developments following the success of opening Trump Soho. These other real estate projects are mostly in Arizona and Florida.

However, the global economic crisis of 2008 slowed the plans for business of the Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization.

Tevfik arif was forced to quit the United States because of a shifting market.

The courses he took have helped him gain vast knowledge of tourism, real estate and real estate. This knowledge was also helpful when he traveled to Turkey in 1993 to establish the first business.
