Update: Mojang has announced that Minecraft 1.18 – Caves and Cliffs Part 2 is now available to download on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. It can also be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.



The next major patch for the game is not expected to launch until the beginning of next year, or at the very least two months into 2022.



ORIGINAL It's been a long wait, but the final Minecraft 1.18 release date has been set until the end of November 2021.



After suffering multiple delays and expansions in its development, Mojang is now ready to release Caves and Cliffs Part 2.



It will make a difference both in the background and visually it will be an exciting update for those across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC and Mobile to take advantage of at no cost.



While the majority of the promises made in the past will be fulfilled this month, there are some things that have not been fulfilled.



Mojang has confirmed what will be in the final version and what was delayed until 2022.



Items missing from Caves and Cliffs Part 2 includes archaeology bundles, archaeology and goat horns, which were moved back to an earlier date.



New biomes are being promised and gamers will soon be able to explore Noise Caves and Lush Caves.

Lush Caves are a mix of Azalea plants' flowers and the Pink Blossoms' flower, add nature and fruit to the cave system.



It's not even mentioning the long-promised upgrade to mountains and underground regions, the latest terrain generation with higher peaks and more complex cave systems.



What time is CAVES and CLIFFS PART 2 COMING TO THE MARKET?



Mojang has confirmed that the Minecraft 1.18 release date is set for Tuesday 30 November 2021.



While no launch date has been determined, players are likely to receive the Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update at approximately 6pm GMT or 10 AM PDT in the case of players located in the United States.



There is no information available on the size of the patch or if there will be any updates in the coming year following the fall of 1.18.



As we've mentioned, the next Minecraft update will not contain certain content that has been confirmed. The Minecraft development team announced this earlier in the month.
