The Dragon Slayer quest in runescape is probably the most difficult quest that free to play players of the game need to complete. This was previously the most difficult runescape quest but that was many years ago, and the game has undergone massive changes.
Dragon Slayer Quest Requirements - 32 Quest points - Must be able beat the level 83 Dragon (I suggest at least level 50).
- Level 34 Smithing (or a friend who has 34 Smithing so they can make you Steel Nails).
33 Magic (not required, but highly recommended).
1. Lobster Pot (purchase at Fishing Store in port sarim).
2. Unfired Bowl: (Use Water with Soft Clay and then get to the Potting Wheel, and make the Bowl. Don't bake it!)
3. Sheet of Silk: (buy in Clothes Store in Varrock, or buy from Silk Merchant in Al-Kharid. safebin Al-Kharid is cheaper)
4. Wizard Mind Bomb (buy at Pub in Falador)
5. Anti Dragon Breath Shield. It will be available during the quest.
6. Three Planks (find them in the Skeleton Graveyard at Level 21 Wilderness).
7. 90 Steel Nails (One Steel Bar makes 15 Nails You will require 6. You need to be Level 34 Smithing to create them.)
8. Hammer
9. 12K (12,000), GP (2K GP for the Boat, 10K Gold Pieces to pay Wormbrain's bribe for his Map Piece. If you're playing Level 33 Magic, you don't need the additional 10,000.
The Dragon Slayer quest's objective is to collect map pieces that allow you to reach the dragon. Once you have completed this and landed on the dragon, you will need to defeat it to complete the quest. A dragonfire shield will definately be required in this battle.
