Ash Do you have a favorite speedrun category?
Illumina:I enjoy running the Diversity 2 mod, and generally, I enjoy custom map speedruns. Perhaps because it's a good change of pace from the randomness of unmodded Minecraft categories. The categories that aren't modified are, however, distinct in their own way. Audio Shop My favorite is the random seed glitch-free for certain. It's super fun to come up with spontaneous routes, even if the luck can be super harsh at times.
Ash: You hold a world record in unmodded runs, don't you?
Illumina:Yeah I have the world record for the random seed glitched. Glitched categories are less popular and this is understandable considering that the game can become quite broken. I enjoy glitchless more because it feels more like the traditional Minecraft I love.
Ash: Do you have a favorite glitch?
Illumina: Probably dragon skip because it's easy to do. Place an end crystal when you reach the end, then the dragon won't appear and the portal to the end is activated. It's very simple and avoids the more difficult newer dragon fights (1.9+).
