Chloe Stephanie Rouler terlahir sebagai seorang anak yang terinfeksi virus Vampire secara alami dari ayahnya, Victore Rouler. Sedari kecil, ia hidup bersama Victore. Ibunya, Choi Ji Hyun meninggal dunia saat melahirkan Chloe karena kekurangan banyak darah di tubuhnya. Mengingat selama menjadi janin, Chloe menyerap darah Ji Hyun. Ji Hyun tidak ingin melawan takdirnya. Melarang Victore untuk merubahnya menjadi Vampire. Oleh karena itu Victore tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa dan merelakan kepergian istri tercintanya. Akhirnya, Victore membawa Chloe kecil ke Korea Selatan dengan maksud menghadirkan kembali sosok Ji Hyun kepada anaknya.
Bersama Victore, Chloe bertempat tinggal di apartement yang berlokasi di Distrik Gangnam. Ia menempuh pendidikan di Universitas Dae dan menemukan orang-orang yang 'sama' seperti dirinya.
