A and served the communities of Mondovi, Durand, and Eau Galle.

Until 1890, most Sacred Hea Parish members were buried in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. The first interment in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery occurred in April 1890. Father Henry Urban purchased 21 acres of farmland, German Hill Road, and Mount Carmel Road, and later added another 21.5 acres in anticipation of a future access road. Today, the cemetery is located on the grounds of the church.
