They take advantage of their placement to have engage in a ocean­faring culture. Their port cities

are built on the solid ice near the cost.

The Evardssons pride themselves on using every gift nature has to give, even the snow and ice

that surrounds them year round. They are strictly a patriarchy, and there has never been a female

Head in their family history. They typically propagate the family by laying with peasants or

members of other families that they fancy. If a male child is born to a conquest of the Head of

the family, he is trated as a full­blooded brother, despite being a half­brother.

Current Head: Emernick Evardsson (age 25)

Emernick is proud, headstrong, and new to the seat of power. Until he took the seat, he

spent most of his time sailing on trade ships and fishing vessels. He prides himself on his hunting

of great ocean beasts and bears the trophies of his greatest kills on his necklace (which he crafted

from shark cartilage and spun walrus leather).
