Good day! We are pleased to welcome you to HTH Worldwide Insurance Services. We are the company that provides you with health and accident insurance through the SUNY Health and Accident Group Policy for International Exchange. This insurance policy is mandatory, and part of your tuition and fee payment. Your HTH Worldwide health insurance plan will provide you with service and protection in the event you become ill or injured during your studies. HTH Worldwide also provides you and your family with valuable information and your own password protected Internet site to help you use and understand your health insurance program.

It is important that you take the time to read all of the information in this email, and print your health insurance ID card. This is very important, as this card is your proof of coverage. You will need to activate your access to the tools and information provided for you on HTH's website.

What you need to do:

Step 1: Print out a copy of this email.

Register on the site (if you have already registered, skip to 'Step 3: Print your ID card' below):

Step 2: Point your web browser to: www.hthstudents.com/login/step1.cfm
Enter your email address, indicate 'No, I'm signing up for the first time' and click 'Sign In'
Enter your Certificate Number and your name as given at the top of this email message, the month and year you will complete your program and confirm your email address
Click 'Submit'
Complete the registration/activation process by following the remaining steps onscreen.
Step 3: Print your ID card
After registration/activation, visit 'My Benefits' on the site
In the right hand column of the table that appears, click 'ID Card'
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the card
Your card is at the bottom of the letter that appears. When you print the card, separate the bottom portion and place it in your wallet. Always carry it with you.
The site also offers HTH Worldwide's international doctor and facility search and medical drug, phrase and term translation guides. To search for a participating doctor or hospital in the United States, follow the instructions at: http://www.aetna.com/docfind/home.do?site_id=passport&langpref=en&this_page=enter_welcome.jsp. Remember to visit the University Health Service first to obtain a referral.
