Minecraft and magic have come together a few times recently. Leaves.Farm One of the most well-known of these magical combination is Spellcraft, the free DLC that includes over 20,000 different spells and some new ways to utilize them. The fan-created EpicSpellsPlugin, however, is definitely worth taking a look at.
We posted about the plugin in May. It was quite impressive at the time, but it appears that development has continued at an impressive pace since the time we wrote about it. As Morica_ on Reddit explains in a post they've added the capability to cast spells without using commands. You'll need to rename a stick "Magic Wand" and then sneak around and draw symbols from the air.
The video shows a few spells and how you can connect them to various motions. It's a very mystical experience. This is precisely the feel that magic should strive to achieve. Morica_ has a discussion of some other possible features for the plugin in a variety of comments throughout the article, but there's one that really stands out.
When asked if it was possible to create custom spells Morica_ replied with "Yes! Although it's unlikely to occur in the next few months, I really want to have something similar. I also code the spells so that they mostly work with pre-made items." In essence, since the spells rely on items already in the game this makes them a bit easier to customize. This could be the best method to live the Hogwarts Legacy, without having to purchase the game.
