Eleven months after it quit Xbox Game Pass, one of the biggest games ever released is coming back to the library. On April 8, Grand Theft Auto V will be available through the service for Xbox console owners. This time you'll be able cause chaos in San Andreas on your phone or tablet, as it's coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming (or xCloud). It's the Xbox One version, while the Series X/S or PlayStation 5 ports won’t arrive until later in the year.
NHL 21 is one of the other titles that will be available on Game Pass this month, due to EA's partnership arrangement with Microsoft. EA Play is included with Game Pass Ultimate, and subscribers will be able to access the latest edition of the hockey series on Xbox consoles beginning on April 12th. Microsoft has previously announced that MLB The Show 21, a game developed and published by Sony will be coming to consoles and cloud services via Game Pass on launch day, April 20th.
Also coming to Game Pass on April 8th will be Zombie Army 4: Dead War (on cloud, console and PC), Disneyland Adventures and Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure (both on Cloud Gaming). The game will come with ID@Xbox games Rain on Your Parade (cloud), console and PC, as well as Pathway (PC).

Certain games are being phased out of Game Pass and/or EA Play this month. Wargroove and a few older Madden and NHL games are among them.
In addition, Microsoft noted there are more than 50 games that have been optimized for touch controls on Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Minecraft Dungeons, Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and Slay the Spire. In addition, there's a brand new feature for Game Pass subscribers on console. The Play with Friends section will display how your friends are playing the Game Pass title. You can join a multiplayer game with your friends or download the game.
