A Review of "Tiger Funk"
When you hear the name " Tiger Funk ", you immediately think of a transatlantic allstar project featuring legendary producer Shawn Lee and mighty Mocambos trombonist BGS. These guys are backed by a string of talented musicians and offer reel-to-reel and digital tracks. The result is a musical suite that has two versions: a traditional and a contemporary version. The latter version is a soaring, jazz-funk anthem that's sure to get your blood pumping.

David Taylor Hughes

A young singer/songwriter and bass guitarist from Los Angeles, Hughes rose to fame by contributing songs to the 1956 play "Girls of Summer." He also worked with Leonard Bernstein on the musical "West Side Story." The musical is a reworking of the classic Romeo & Juliet, with rival street gangs battling for dominance in Manhattan. In this role, Hughes incorporated elements of both the Motown and Stax/Volt sound, giving him an eclectic musical style.

The Old West newspaper in Prescott, Arizona, considered gambling halls as rivals of Tombstone. Its readers included young railroad workers who sought thrills and excitement in their off hours. Gambling Professionals and other entrepreneurs sprung up in Tombstone to meet this need. But what are the characters' backgrounds? And how do they fit in with the history of the town? Johnny Cash

The biographical film "Walk the Line" starring Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash was released in the United States in November 2005. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor, while Reese Witherspoon won the Golden Globe for Best Actress. Cash also won the Grammy Award for Best Original Song for "Tiger Funk" (1993).

In the same year, Johnny Cash signed with Columbia Records and recorded a few gospel songs for the label. However, he left Phillips and continued to record gospel songs for Columbia. In addition, he continued to release new material recorded on Sun until 1964, which allowed him to release new music on two labels at once. Sun's 1960 release reached number 13 on the C&W charts. Although Cash had two albums out on different labels, the songs were influenced by the music and styles of the other label.
