Snapshot introductions can be a challenge to write! They need to perfectly summarise all the information we collect every week, such as the fact that Illagers now have acquired enough knowledge to open doors (congratulations!) or that you can trade in the middle of an attack. They can also serve as a lighthearted transition to all the technical details regarding bugs and fixes. Add a good portion of memes and you've got the perfect Wednesday read! I'm not able to provide the latter because I've already gone on too long. Perhaps next week?

RAIDS



Raids are now based on a pattern based on difficulty to determine the exact number of groups that will appear in the course of the raid 3 Normal - Easy - 5 Hard - 7



If you or your village companions brought additional Bad Omen levels into the village during the raid, or at the trigger of raid you will be able to receive a bonus wave equal to the final base wave of your level of difficulty. For example, Bad Omen levels 2-5 will be experiencing 4 waves on Easy, and the fourth wave is exactly the same as the first.



BAD OMEN



You can now go up to Bad Omen 5, and you only get 1 Bad Omen at a time from killing a captain. Minecraft Bad Omens are brought into the village by every person who brings them into. Bad Omen 5 is the most powerful level. A higher bad omen level means more chance that opponents you encounter will have enchanted weapons.



HERO OF THE VILLAGE:



Now you can get an effect known as Hero of the Village after successfully protecting your village from an attack! This effect is similar to the Bad Omen level in the village that is being targeted. This effect will last for 2 days during game days and will give you huge discounts on trades and will depend on the intensity of the effect. Villagers will also express their gratitude, so look for your new fans in the village after you save them!
