Our MSA 2062 appears to be having strange performance issues whenever I use the FC (10K), drives regardless of the RAID type or configuration. I have tried using RAID 1 5 6, 10 and the MSADP+ and they all behave in the same way , regardless of configuration of the disk.
Hardware Details and Configuration:
The array came with 2 built-in SSD drives and 14, 10K, 2.4TB Seagate drives. We utilize four 10G SFP connections to two dedicated 10G Cisco switches with two dedicated iSCSI subnets, as recommended by HPE MSA1060/2060/2062. See page 4.
We are connecting three servers via dedicated and routed ISCSI VLANs to the MSA-2062 array. We have enabled jumbo frames on each 10g connections and all servers are able to connect to all iSCSI data IP's.

I followed the MSA installation guide, Storage Management Guide, and the HPE MSA Storage Configuration Guide and Best Practices For VMware vSphere guides. gametolia.com I was unable to apply all settings to the MSA 2062.
I have no problems moving a VM from the VMFS store to an RAID 1 group that has 2 SSD's. However, if I utilize any of the 10K disks regardless of the RAID configuration I select, the performance is terribly slow. It's not a connection issue as I have ruled that out.
All servers, hard drives, and arrays are up-to-date with the latest firmware versions. The MSA health check tool has not found any issues and confirmed the array is in a healthy state. It's difficult to believe that 10k disks are not functioning as expected.
