It took a while, it took a while, but Minecraft Earth is finally available on Microsoft's own soil. The US has launched an early access version for iOS and Android of the game that simulates augmented reality called Minecraft Earth. While it's not yet the full-fledged version Microsoft and Mojang have been promoting for months, it will let you make dioramas, collaborate with your friends on projects, and take on mobs in adventure.
The US is the tenth country to be granted early access. The developers say there will be more support in the coming weeks, even while the majority of the world still not yet in the loop. Nonetheless, this is an important step forward. It suggests that Microsoft and Mojang are becoming more comfortable deploying Minecraft Earth in its current state, and that it might be a matter of time before everyone gets the opportunity to play.
