Minecraft has progressed a lot since its inception, thanks to several new upgrades. Users are already anticipating version 1.20 and what it might bring to the future of Minecraft even after version 1.19 was released.

Mojang supports many community engagement initiatives, including keeping track of all requests. Minecraft users may submit suggestions to improve the game in future updates by using the feedback option on the official website of the developer. Mojang has also offered hints of possible material that could be included in future versions. Here are some of the most anticipated enhancements we expect to see in version 1.20.

5) Better Emerald Crafting

Minecraft: Suggestions for new features after version 1.201)

1 Combat Modifications

Combat has remained relatively unchanged since Minecraft version 1.9 was released in 2016. Some players were not happy with the result of the change to the attack with melee weapons mechanics. Many servers have since been reverted back to the pre-1.9 combat system.

Due to this divide, Mojang could want to look at the game's basic combat system. To improve the fighting experience against monsters and other players, it is worth investigating the speed of weapon clicks and recovery times.

2) Seasonal Variations

While Minecraft's biomes have been vastly improved, there may still be some improvements. Seasonal modifications have been among of the most requested features for Mojang. This could include seasonal variations in tree leaf color and weather changes based on biomes, and even blocking property modifications.

Some player-created modifications have already offered their own unique perspective on the issue. Mojang could take these as an inspiration for their own round, seasonal adjustments such as version 1.20.

3) Fruit Plants

Though oak trees in Minecraft can drop apples occasionally however, there is a lot of potential to improve. Specially designed fruit trees, which may drop various fruits dependent on the tree could be a good option to resolve this.

These trees can be found in a variety of biomes based on their climate. If they plant the trees, it will increase the biodiversity of the biomes and give players a constant food supply. It's been one of the major issues of many changes in recent years and Mojang might want to take a hint from their efforts.

4) The Hardcore Mode of the Bedrock Edition

Hardcore Mode has been an option in Java Edition, but it isn't available in Bedrock Edition. It's no surprise that gamers would like to play the game mode on all platforms, given its difficult nature and incredible thrills. Many Bedrock Edition gamers are as adamant about being put in tough survival situations as their Java counterparts. The absence of this mode on Bedrock platforms has long been thought to be a mistake. Mojang should be able to fix this issue faster than expected.

5) Better Emerald Crafting

Emeralds can only be used to make blocks and trading with villager, but they have limited applications in the current version. Many users have asked Mojang to extend the usage of emeralds to include items like as swords, armor, and tools. It's probably a good idea to include additional products that utilize emeralds as a crafting component as well. Due to its limited use, this costly stone hasn't seemed to be that valuable however Mojang could make huge strides in the quality of life just by making emeralds more useful. This will also boost the value and accessibility of emerald farms that players can use in their communities.
