1. Kementrian sihir adalah sebuah lembaga yang menangani tentang berbagai aspek tentang sihir. Dari mulai hukum hingga pendidikan sihir.
2. Menteri Sihir memiliki tugas yaitu pengaturan terhadap segala hal yang berhubungan dengan dunia sihir, termasuk hubungan dengan penyihir di luar teritori dan komunitas diluar penyihir.
3. Untuk masuk kedalam Kementrian Sihir juga dapat dengan bubuk Floo, dan pengunjung akan tiba melalui perapian di sebelah kiri Atrium.
4. Departemen ini bertugas membuat dan menegakkan hukum sihir dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat sihir.
