I've been playing a variety of games for a while now and I am getting bored of the same old games. Run into the game, kill everything and run out, or die.
I was recently seeking out a different way to play and decided to give Minecraft a go. I had heard a lot of positive reviews about the sandbox type of gameplay of Minecraft, it gave me confidence that it would be a good change to my gaming.
So I installed Minecraft and initially though... Oh dear god what am I doing. The graphics are not completely terrible, but they are close. Then before I knew it I was playing for hours and absolutely enjoying the game. Minecraft really got hold of me and inspired me to play more and more.
I eventually began looking for new challenges in Minecraft to help me continue enjoying it. Some of the creations made me feel like there was a lot more to it than I originally thought.
I stumped across the Survival Island Minecraft map. This was exactly what I was looking for, particularly since I am a huge fan of the castaway. So I eagerly installed the map and got loading up Minecraft, I was excited.
After loading into Minecraft and then the map I though, how the hell am I going to survive? I guess this is the reason.
The island is made up of an extremely small base of sand, a bit of dirt, and a tree (from what I can recall). I did feel a sort of anxiety that I did never experienced before in Minecraft and all I could think of was "I must make it through."
After a few more hours of gaming, I was completely in the Minecraft Survival Island way of playing. I had underground tree farms, automated cactus farms, bonemeal to make seeds and lots of other activities, I felt good.
Then all of a sudden the disaster struck! I mined in an unsuitable direction and let water enter my underground cavern.
I quickly filled the leak with dirt and then covered it with dirt to ensure that I wouldn't make the same mistake twice.
Bonfire
I strongly suggest playing the Minecraft Survival Island map as it offers a level of excitement you don't get from playing normally. You are a bit nervous and nervous about what's going to take place.
