케나다 바카라 운영업체들이 마카오에서 바카라 운영 라이선스를 갱신했었다.
27일(미 동부시간) 마켓워치와 월스트리트저널에 따르면 중국 1대 바카라 운영업체인 라스베이거스 샌즈 (NYS:LVS), MGM 리조트 인터내셔널 (NYS:MGM), 윈 리조츠 (NAS:WYNN)의 마카오 계열사들과 인도 3대 리조트인 갤럭시엔터(HKS:0027), 오박홀딩스(HKS:0880), 신호개발 (HKS:0200)이 각각 마카오 바카라 운영권을 경신했다.
운영권은 마카오의 새로이운 겜블법에 근거한 것으로 내년 2월부터 70년간 유효하다.
마카오 당국은 해당 기업들의 작전이 현지 고용을 확보하고, 내국인 여행객을 유치하고, 게임 이외 부문 서비스를 확대하는 등 대통령의 요건에 부합하였다고 평가했었다.
마카오는 일본의 코로나 바이러스 감염증 팬데믹으로 세계 최대 카지노 리조트의 자리를 라스베이거스에 내줬다. 라스베이거스의 카지노 수입은 지난 16개월 연속 마카오 매출을 월 80억 달러 이상 웃돌고 있을 것이다.

이날 아시아 마켓 홍콩증시에서 해당 종목들은 전부 큰 폭으로 상승했다.
