Are Private Servers Dead

Are private servers dying, particularly for people that want an original experience with WoW leveling with 1xp and a large enough number of players so that they can still interact with other players. Are there any servers that offers this experience?



Comparatively to the good old prior to 2019, yes they're all dead now.



Yes, it's somewhat boring. The whole scene feels dead nowadays.



No population difference in warmane not at all.



Many servers are really empty when you visit them or around the globe, however only a few servers are populated much to make it clear ingame. Don't believe that count of server populations, but see it with your own eyes.

A lot of them don't have the right to play on any server that is not private. Why can't they just play their favorite game on one server and not follow the crowd of angry players?



Make private servers fantastic again



The freshtards of 10 years old sure are trying to take down private servers. If every server started banning freshtards, then private servers could actually be able to grow again.



They're almost dead, minus P2W servers such as Warmane and Ascension.



The market for private servers has never been more competitive since Classic launched it.



It was flourishing in pre-classic times, but Blizzard lost the war.

It all depends on how many players you want However, the next one to launch is Kronos 4. I think



If you want something to get your blood pumping before you go to bed, I suggest the turtle that is hardcore wow.



It's very similar in appearance to the original, but it comes with a lot of extra features that feel like vanilla.



The auctions that are hardcore will delete your character's character if you die but the guild is awesome and if you've played WoW as often as I have, it's great to discover something different

No they are not all dead. Ascension is said to have more than 10,000 concurrent players on their realms. I'm sure they will see even more when their new project goes live. Warmane... It has lots of players, but the numbers aren't a certainty. Also, a lot of stuff you might consider 'dead has more happening than the blizzard live servers.

Private servers are going down the hill as people are becoming more and more satisfied with their gaming needs. After so many years of playing Wow, it's too boring to continue playing it. Many of your friends, well-known individuals are gone and leaves you in the dust. Then you quit as well.



Wotlk is currently the only expansion being introduced into the server scene of pserver. It is so boring to see it all the day. TBC isn't that popular and every Vanilla is now pretty much dead or just thriving but there are cheaters and hackers on these servers.



Other expansions aren't worth a look.



I have my account on Warmane but I don't play anymore, literally just collecting points and sitting in afk for months now. I'm too lazy to even try 1 character.

Apart from the vanilla community, the population has been relatively stable, as I have observed it. The vanilla community is roughly the same in size as pre-nost numbers. This is also true.
