Minecraft star Stampy Cat to present an RSE Christmas message

YouTube and Minecraft legend Stampy Cat is to deliver a lecture in front of 2,000 schoolchildren in Dundee.
Stampy - whose real name is Joseph Garrett - will give the Royal Society of Edinburgh's Christmas lecture at the city's Caird Hall on Monday.
His YouTube channel has more than 6.7 million subscribers.
Next Thursday, the lecture will only be available on BBC iPlayer.
BBC Scotland said Minecraft fans would, for the first time, get to see Stampy demonstrate how he makes his videos in a discussion with Dundee games entrepreneur Chris van der Kuyl.
Stampy will share his story of how he made his Christmas special and give an insight into his life.
Van der Kuyl stated that Stampy was the "epitome digital native of the 21st century" who would inspire viewers regardless of age.
"Stampy is an inspirational figure to a whole new generation who can clearly see how their future careers will be dependent on a unique blend of talents, creativity , and technical skills that can all be learned," he said.

The RSE lecture will be shown as part of the BBC Make it Digital initiative to encourage digital creativity amongst young people.
