World Of Warcraft: Companion App

The WoW Companion App is an application for mobile that lets one make the most of their time in Azeroth regardless of where they are in the real world. It uses the Legion Companion App as a base and integrates features from the Mobile Armory. It was announced at the same time the support for Mobile Armory ended. [1]



This app succeeded the Legion Companion App and the Mobile Armory on August 13 2018, 2018 for Android and iOS. [2]

Features
- Send your covenant companions on adventures through the Shadowlands while you're in motion. Plan your party, create the layout of the board, collect rewards for completed adventures and keep your friends up-to-date for the next adventure.




- Check out active World Quests, Callings objectives and rewards available directly within the app. wow data You can then use this intel to plan your activities once you're in-game.




Chat with friends in game via the Guild and Communities feature, follow the latest World of Warcraft headlines and news articles in the News pane, and plan raids and events in the Calendar.

Check out your characters their weapons, armor and other information about your character. Keep track of their strength and help decide the pieces of gear you want to purchase next.


Note: To utilize all features of the WoW Companion App one must be logged in.

Patch 9.2.0 (2022-02-22)

- The Zereth Mortis map and World Quests have been added. Players can interact via the app with the Cypher Research console to check progress and start new research.







Additional information added to Adventure detail dialogs. - Improved cooldown times for adventurers. Clarified some indicators for adventurers' targets. - Added indicator for Maw Assaults. - Added indicator to screen to select characters if characters have completed missions. Support for multiple accounts has been improved. This could require some users to accept additional device permissions. Improved performance of news articles on smartphones with lower-end specs. - Improved clarity in communicating locked content as opposed to. waiting for data from the server.





Added an option to switch between expansions in the menu. Developers Note We received feedback from users that they were having difficulty remembering the expansion switch tutorial. So we changed the method of the select button for expansion to a tap, and added a button to switch expansions in the menu.


Developers Note: We have changed the flow based on feedback from users to aid in identifying and resolving the issue of selecting the wrong region as opposed to not having any characters in a region.


- When Shadowlands launches players will be capable of playing Adventures and manage companions in the app once the Adventures system is unlocked. Shadowlands maps World Quests, World Quests and Callings will be visible after the player has joined a Covenant Sanctum. - Fixed an issue that caused Mac'Aree World Quests failing to display. - Fixed an issue with Legion and Battle for Azeroth mission success chance and bonus loot showing incorrectly or disappearing. - Fixed a problem where the character's level increase from Legion missions displayed incorrectly. Reverted the algorithm for character sorting to "descending level" followed "alphabetical".





Legion missions are now available. - Characters can now be favored in the Character Selection screen. - The latest WoW news is now available in the app.





Improvements to the chat community. - Fixed a bug that required users to sign in twice before launching the app.
